Missing Molly Audible Audio Edition Natalie Barelli Lucy PriceLewis LLC Dreamscape Media Books Reviews
- This is a fantastic book. Before this I read "The Loyal Wife" by Natalie Barelli. That book was also very good, good as in I wanted to read another one of her books right away. I read this book in one day as I could not put it down. It certainly grabs you from the beginning and does not let you go. I have certainty found a new author and am starting one of her other books as soon as I finish this review. I hope she writes another soon because there are only two books of hers I haven't read. Anyone that enjoys a fast paced physiological thriller, read this book. Trust me.
- Rachel Holloway is working for a small newspaper that is about to close its doors unless it can attract more paid advertisers. A staff member comes up with the idea to air a serial podcast to increase readership. The subject of the podcast will be a local crime that happened fifteen years ago. Three members of the Forster family, the husband, wife, and a teenage daughter were brutally murdered in their home, and the presumed murderer committed suicide. A fourth member of the Forster family, nine year old Molly, was never found.
Now, the newspaper Rachael works for has started airing a serial podcast titled "Missing Molly", focusing on finding the little girl that disappeared 15 years before. So why is Rachael doing everything within her power to sabotage the podcast? "<i>That’s the thing, when you’ve gone through what I have. You learn to become someone else, and you learn to convince anyone and everyone of that lie. It’s what you have to do when you’re me. Because I am Molly Forster.</I> So ends chapter 1.
This is the fourth Natalie Barelli book I've read. I absolutely loved her first book, "Until I Met Her". While this is my least favorite so far, I admit I am an unabashed fan. Nobody sucks the reader in quicker than Barelli.
I'm giving this book 3.5 stars....and waiting impatiently for the next Natalie Barelli book to come out. - I guess I expected more than this book delivered. There were no real twists, entire book was repetitive and boring. Characters were pretty flat too. You already know the ending halfway through the book and sure enough, it just continued on as expected.
I also had a prob. with keeping characters straight, too many of them and none very distinctive from the rest. It was a disappointment. I don't recommend. - This book grabbed my attention from the cover all the way through the sample pages. I wasn't sure if I could really spend even the $.99 the book cost at the time to get it but I kept wondering about it, desiring to read the whole book. I couldn't figure out how a 12-year-old girl survived on her own to adulthood and made a life for herself. I finally had to get it and thankfully it was still $.99!
This book was that good. It captures your attention from the beginning. I kept trying to stay awake and read til my eyes wouldn't keep open many nights. I woke up this morning, still not very awake, fed the cat and decided I needed to finish the last 17 pages. I was not disappointed and was very awake as I finished the book. My only disappointment was that it was done.
I am going to go check out what else this author has written. I would love to read more about Molly's life that would continue from the end of this book. I hope the author gets wind of that and thinks about a sequel! - Compelling
Stand-alone that is easy to follow. Some violence, no drag-you-down drama.
Intriguing and sad story with plenty of twists. Believable characters with distinct personalities. Entertaining dialogue.
No desire to re-read this story. I may be interested in other works by this author. - I enjoyed this story. I like that we know from the beginning a lot of Molly's story. I also like that despite the subject matter, this book was humorous in parts. Felt like the author didn't take herself too seriously. Quick, interesting read!

- Absolutely loved this book and I could not put it down! The story line was so interesting, loved how the characters evolved. Fast paced read. I would definitely recommend this book. Cannot wait to get my hands on another barelli book! This is my first time reading this author.
